Non- residential Course:
Aizawl Theological College serves as a local centre for three Extension Programmes i.e., Bachelor of Christian Studies (B.C.S.), the Diploma in Christian Studies (Dip.C.S.) and Doctor of Ministry (D. Min) of the Senate of Serampore College. The objective of this programme is to provide theological education to lay leaders and members of the local church community who do not have the opportunity to go for residential theological education.
- Diploma in Christian Studies (Dip.C.S.)
Candidates desirous of doing the diploma course in Christian Studies (Dip. C.S.) are required to have passed Higher Secondary School (10+2) or its equivalent. Candidate should have completed 18 years of age at the time of enrolment. The course is offered in English and in Mizo medium.
- Bachelor of Christian Studies (B.C.S):
To be eligible to study the B.C.S. course, a candidate must be graduate of a recognised university. A holder of the Dip.C.S. certificate of the Senate of Serampore College is also eligible to undertake the B.C.S. course
- Doctor of Ministry (D.Min):
Recognizing the importance of continuing theological education for full time Ministers in the service of the Church, the Senate of Serampore College has offered a special programme for them: the Doctor of Ministry programme. The Mizoram Presbyterian Church Synod is encouraging its ordained Ministers to register for the same. Aizawl Theological College has been given the responsibility of co-ordinating this programme for them. Recognizing the importance of continuing theological education for full time Ministers in the service of the Church, the Senate of Serampore College has offered a special programme for them: the Doctor of Ministry programme.
